The creative messaging flow I keep coming back to
This is the exact flow I have been using to map out creative messaging strategy inside Fully Loopy.
It starts with a persona, moves into real desires, then into creative ideas, angles, and finally creative briefs that can be used for image generation, video scripts, and visual storyboarding.
The point is not to make AI sound clever. The point is to give it the right context, at the right time, so you get stronger Meta ad messaging without drowning in noise.

The flow at a glance
Lanes
I think in lanes: personas, desires, creative ideas, angles, and creative briefs. Those lanes keep the strategy structured instead of turning into one long messy chat.
Research
The system can run deep research, pull Reddit language, and help verify whether a problem, desire, or belief is actually showing up in the market.
Output
Once the thinking is right, the output gets much easier. Creative briefs can become prompts, scripts, storyboard directions, and ad concepts far faster.
Why I built it this way
Most advertisers jump straight into hooks, offers, or ad copy.
That is usually where the message gets weak.
If the persona is vague, the desire is generic, and the belief is made up, the ad ends up sounding like every other ad in the feed. Then the only lever left is price.
I wanted a workflow that forced the messaging to get more specific before moving into execution.
Step 1: Start with the persona
The first lane is the persona.
Not a broad audience label. A real person with a specific frustration, belief, and higher-order goal.
In the example from the video, I used a demo market and focused on a persona like the "polluted air breather." From there, the goal was not just to describe the problem, but to understand the deeper why behind it.
What do they actually want?
What have they already tried?
What are they hearing from other people?
What beliefs are they carrying into the buying decision?
Step 2: Verify the desires with real research
Once the persona exists, the next lane is desires.
I usually keep this to three to five max.
That limit matters. If you keep adding desire after desire, the strategy gets bloated and the messaging loses force.
Instead of guessing, I use research to pressure-test whether those desires are real.
That means looking for:
- keywords and trends
- recurring frustrations
- what people have tried before that has not worked
- beliefs they already have
- the language they naturally use when describing the problem
This is where deep research starts doing useful work instead of decorative work.
Step 3: Use Reddit to tighten the buyer language
After deep research, I like to run Reddit research on the exact problem space.
That gives much better raw language for ads, angles, and visuals because you start seeing how people really talk when they are frustrated.
You can pull out phrases like:
I just want to wake up and feel oxygen flowing through my body without fighting it.
Or:
It is so discouraging.
That is the kind of language that helps you move from feature-heavy copy into emotionally accurate messaging.

Step 4: Refine the desires before you move on
One of the most useful parts of the workflow is getting the system to review the desires again after the research comes back.
That second pass matters.
It helps strip out generic ideas and replace them with sharper, more believable ones that actually fit the persona and the product.
I only want a handful of strong desires for each persona. Not a giant list. Just the ones that are emotionally relevant and commercially useful.
Step 5: Turn one desire into creative ideas
After desires, the next lane is creative ideas.
At this stage I am not trying to generate finished ads. I am trying to identify promising directions.
That could be:
- before and after
- problem-solution
- founder story
- mistakes
- us versus them
- community and belonging
The goal is to find the creative territory that best helps the buyer move from their old belief to the new belief required by the product.
Step 6: Build angles from the best creative idea
Creative ideas are not the same as angles.
A creative idea gives you a direction. An angle gives you the message.
For example, if a before-and-after concept looks strong, there are still multiple angles inside it:
- the emotional before and after
- the practical before and after
- the belief shift before and after
- the identity shift before and after
That is why I separate the lanes. It stops good ideas from collapsing into shallow copy too early.
Step 7: Use creative briefs as working fuel, not formal paperwork
After angles, I move into creative briefs.
I do not use these like agency paperwork.
I use them as structured fuel for AI tools.
Those briefs can then be used for:
- image prompts
- video scripts
- storyboard direction
- Higgsfield workflows
- Magnific workflows
- future MCP-based creative generation
That means I do not need to bounce between platforms and rebuild context every time. The strategy stays connected to the output.
What Fully Loopy is doing underneath
There are really two experiences working together here.
One is the canvas and lane-based flow.
The other is the loops experience, where research, context, tools, and follow-up actions can keep building on each other.
That makes it possible to:
- run deep research
- do Reddit research
- select only the context you want to pass forward
- keep prompts tighter and cheaper
- generate creative directions without dumping everything into one huge chat
I also have OpenRouter connected, so the model layer is flexible. If a better model shows up, I can switch without rebuilding the workflow.
Why this matters for Meta advertisers
A lot of advertisers are going too heavy on the offer and not deep enough on the belief.
That usually creates bland creative, more competition on price, and more of the same ad concepts everyone else is testing.
When you do the strategy work properly, you get:
- more specific buyer language
- stronger emotional relevance
- clearer angles
- better prompts for creative production
- faster iteration once testing begins
That is the real point of the system.
Not more AI for the sake of AI.
Better thinking before production.
What is available now
Fully Loopy already goes beyond this messaging workflow.
It also includes the canvas, image generation workflows, bulk variation testing, and AI agent access so you can chat with the app inside tools like Telegram, with Slack support coming as well.
The Meta Ads component is also in progress, and MCP support is being finalized so the same underlying strategy data can be used in more places.
It is BYO for tools like Higgsfield, Magnific, and OpenRouter, which keeps the ongoing cost relatively low while still giving you a much stronger system for building creative.
Final thought
If you want a better Meta ad workflow, the answer is not more random prompts.
It is better structure, better research, better buyer language, and better sequencing from persona to desire to creative direction.
That is exactly what I built Fully Loopy to do.
